It's a time to update myself wat's the latest Gadget / Laptop / Desktop etc etc....
It's also a time for me to buy stuff !
But this time round.... I didn't buy much ........
Initial Potential Plan
1) buy a new LCD 22" Samsung
2) buy a new external harddisk
What I actually bought
1) Scandisk Micro SD card - 4gb - $13.50
2) Lexmark Printer - Print, Scan, Copy (3 in 1) - $69
haha..... In da end I can't bear to buy a new LCD screen while my old 17" screen is still working fine (damn it it's even smaller den the screen I'm using at office). The external harddisk is a want.... not a need.....
While my reasons for buying
1) funni but true, scandisk is the only brand which is compatible wif my HTC dream. the other brands can't be detected when I tried them on my HP......
2) I wanted a scanner! And my printer is spoiled! now I have 3 in 1! wooots!
I did consider buying speakers for my computer but I was too cheapo to buy them during the fair. haha. I kinda regret it now but the speakers which I liked will not be able to fit onto my small computer table. A small little part of me wanted a laptop but it was obviously a 'want' and I can't afford to spare the additional cash for it.
Anyway, below are some pics to show how I struggled to go to the IT show! (they are blurred becos I'm always on the move while taking those pics.....)

Lessons I have learnt:
1) Hot stuff will be sold out even be4 it has the chance to be 'discounted' !
2) The price for the laptops for last day drops by $100 or $200! or even more! but lesson 1 applies 1st.....
3) Acer is still one of the cheapest brands around! ( But it doesn't mean it wun spoil......)
4) Samsung LCD monitors are gd stuff! (the 1 that I aimed for was out of stock.... )
5) A new design Mac book cost $500 more than the old design just becos it is made of unibody!
6) One muz be prepared to sweat, squeeze through crowd, be alert etc etc to go to the IT show!
7) The price for 2.5" western digital 320gb did not drop at all (at least till 6pm) for the whole IT show !
Well, it's back to work on monday~
