Alrite ~ i have erm 'Finished' my marathon

Interesting. After so long, i have finally 'recovered' my blog (which i thot was lost and deleted). and i have attempted my marathon without any training. haha. well probably this blog will not be read by alot of ppl (since it's supposed to be dead). but yeah i think i can continue to post things as i like.....

alot of things have changed so far. getting fatter is one of them. not getting any richer is another 1. been to vietnam (ho chi minh) and taiwan this year. not badz.

but yay! i got attached! ahhahaha. with some1 whom i thot is a very nice gal. heeeeeeeeeee. happpiiiiiiiiii. let's hope things will go smoothly.

1/2 year left for 2011!

Well exams have been over for more than a week. Time seems to have passed too fast. Cuz it is already JUNE 2011. Which means I have almost left Shitty Bank for a year! Also means left 1/2 year in 2011 nia.

I guess I will start small by training for 16.8km run. cool. intending to slot another run between Aug n Dec to further push myself to prepare for 42.195 km @ the end of the year. haha.

and Holidays! Taiwan will be the my 1st and main Overseas this year ( excluding my batam trip earlier in march). maybe can slot in HK also. haha. let's see how.

best part bout today is i am on mc and i have been sleeping. the drowsy medicine is powerful sia. haha.

Even Spidey gets Kan Jiong

The title says it all. Alarm clock has been set at 6am ( i have mutiple timings just in case). While, no choice, nvr study hard enough, plus aircon blocked my nose, plus i can't get back to sleep after tt after lying on the bed for 45 mins. wad to do?
Nothing.

I can't do much shit with 3+h to exam. can't get back to sleep cuz i will be waking up again in 30-45 mins time. can't revise much cuz i dun wan't to tire myself out be4 i even start the exams and get tricked by it again.

I can try to clear my blocked nose though. hahaha.

No Matter. I have realised that I will need tons of luck to pray that I can guess correctly the answers for the questions that I will see later.

NZT where r u

In my search of a solution (NZT-48 , from Limitless), I have realised that I only have 1 goal for 2011 according to my blog - which is the exam in 2 days' time.
Which reminds me - wad happen to other goals?!

1 thing that has impressed me is that my dear friend (i called it CPF friends - cuz part time cpf noe 1) guanz has completed 21km in 2h 30mins! A stunning impressive result for a lady who only really started jogging about 1+ years back (she is much fitter den i am now). Grats for her and I hope she will have other positive results in other aspects of her life also =p

which reminded me of smtg : fatty kang, wad am I doing?

I think i shall start small. aim to be fit enough to complete a full marathon in dec (regardless of the timing!).

Since it's free... ...

Chatterbox Chicken Rice

Hi Peeps

I finally have the chance to try the reowned Chatterbox Chicken Rice yesterday! haha. It's definitely not cheap! like erm $27 on the menu?

Wasn't able to take a pic cuz my HTC went for servicing.

Well, they have the chicken breast or drumstick version (of coz i ordered drumstick).

And to be honest i'm not ur usual chix rice person who will eat wif dark soya sauce, ginger, or chilli.

I'm just a plain vanilla eater.

well, u dun have to queue or anything. As for ambience, probably as O K as any other restuarant, maybe slightly better. looks high class to eat there. haha.

Verdict: i tried a few pieces of the chicken breast meat. not fantastic (abit of dry, overcooked). drumstick meat was okay ( hey i mean, how bad can it get ?). the meat was served with some vege and tomato and cucumber, portion was probably 2 times the usual chix rice u get from ur neighbourhood. The rice wasn't too bad though. not oily, with fragrance, it is those like the small rice grain verison. soup wasn't too bad (but i mean, meat n rice should be the focus of chicken rice rite).

I think I will prefer to eat those normal chix rice stall. With $27, i can at least order 1/2 chicken for myself. maybe add some dumpling soup. haha. and there's alot of nice chicken rice stalls around with cheaper prices!

Conclusion: I am a Cheapo

Repetitive things in life - in terms of working ?!

A great sunday morning so far, except that I am still getting fatter everyday (da*n it man).

anyway I had a talk to a few friends recently. Well i guess all of us will be facing this problem , or has been thinking bout this problem, or is/are facing this problem: what kind of job is suitable for u?

Well, ppl say ops is boring. repetitive. mundane. well, in my two cents' worth of thought (maybe more at least 5 cents since this is the min denom in sg now), isn't sales, middle office, or any other industry the same?

Sales in a nutshell: u wake up everyday trying to close deals, earn more commission for urself, and but still wad u do is repetitive and 'boring' (for ppl who dun like to talk /psycho other ppl to invest).

Middle Office: ya cool for being a real analyst or maybe making recommendations to ppl, but as long as u stay in ur job scope u r constrained to do the same old stuff every day, huh?

OPS: deemed to be the most boring job in banking industry - maybe some data entry and stuff liddat. repetitive to the max, but hey, is it that bad?

If u think bout other jobs, like auditor, admin, marketing, coffee shop helper, vege stall owner etc; well, they also do the same thing everyday rite? or at least the bulk of the job is relatively the same. just that it could be considered like more alive for marketing (different products each time) but still the same thot process repeats huh? maybe jobs like project manager will be more interesting.... same as marketing.....

So, point that i'm thinking (maybe i aren't correct anyway, but hecks, this is my blog, so i can voice out my views rite? anything just comment loh... ho ho ho) is that wad kind of repetitive job can each and every1 of us endure?

maybe more ppl can endure sales cuz at least it's rewarding (commission mah).

or maybe job satisfaction ( u think that being able to market a product successfully adds to ur confidence n ego)

or maybe it's the endurance for the job prospect ( i heard that if u can endure in auditing, most prob u can promote and become a manager, but hey, are u willing to burn ur weekends also? ==> gross pay isn't too bad; ignoring the per-hour-wage conversion)

I guess my above question is also linked to how much each $ of us actually need ??

I have told my friends be4 that if i am paid 5k a month, i dun mind being a road sweeper. haha.

so den, wad kind of 'career' u want , depends on how much pressure u wanna take, $ u want to earn, and other importance of wad da career can bring to u (eg. prestige), maybe ur other half will have a huge influence too.

At the end of day, wad have u chosen?

CNY EVE! upcoming of the "rabbit" year!

Time really flies. and yeah, i'm 27 years old this year liao.

When I was in my teens, I was still wondering wad I will be like when i'm working. maybe working hard at my job, looking smart in my tie n suit , blah blah blah.

In a blink of an eye, I'm already 'in' the working world for about 2+ years. Cool. Not too bad, cuz at least i still completed my basic studies (wif some lousy grades though, haha).

Still, I know that 10 years will pass quickly and i'll be doing the same of wat I am doing now.....

Let's try to enjoy life and achieve whatever we want before we regret it!
